Mission: To serve the poor, orphans, widows, and those in need, reflecting Christ’s love through acts of kindness and service.
Description:
At Holy Spirit International Church, we believe that charity is an expression of God’s love. Through the Charity & Compassion Ministry, we reach out to the most vulnerable members of society, ensuring they receive spiritual, emotional, and physical support.
Providing Basic Necessities
- We distribute food, clean water, clothing, and shelter to underprivileged families, ensuring they have their basic needs met.
- Monthly food drives and feeding programs serve homeless communities and struggling households.
- We partner with local businesses and volunteers to provide winter clothing, blankets, and hygiene kits to those in need.
Medical Camps & Disaster Relief
- Our church organizes free medical check-ups, vaccination drives, and health awareness programs in underprivileged areas.
- In times of natural disasters, our team provides emergency relief, including food packages, temporary housing, and medical assistance.
- We collaborate with doctors, nurses, and health professionals to ensure people receive the necessary medical care.
Education Sponsorship & Child Welfare
- We support orphans and children from low-income families by sponsoring their education, providing school supplies, and covering tuition fees.
- Our goal is to break the cycle of poverty by investing in children’s futures through mentorship, scholarships, and skill-building programs.
- Sunday school and faith-based education initiatives ensure children grow in faith and biblical knowledge.
Supporting Widows, Single Mothers & Struggling Families
- Many widows and single mothers struggle financially and emotionally. We provide them with financial aid, counseling, and empowerment programs.
- Training in small businesses, vocational skills, and entrepreneurship helps them become independent and self-sufficient.
- We offer mentorship, community support groups, and spiritual encouragement to help them rebuild their lives.
Biblical Foundation
Jesus commanded His followers to care for the less fortunate. Our work is inspired by His words:
“For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited me in.” – Matthew 25:35
